Graffiti- Mt. Lawley, Perth

After the great response to my street art and graffiti post of the many forms of art I have encountered on my travels, I thought you might like to see some of the local graf from Perth. Mt. Lawley in particular is one suburb close to the city with a funky vibe and plenty of lane ways and buildings covered in amazing street art.

The main street, Beaufort street is home to great pubs like the Flying Scotsman and the Queens, great for Sunday a session or checking out live music. Regular shows can been seen from both local comedians to international acts at the Astor Theatre.

Upmarket shopping and cool bookstores like Planet Books line Beaufort Street and is also home to many restaurants and a strong cafe culture. Only a short drive (8 mins.) to the heart of the city and close to the Swan River, Mt. Lawley has long been a popular place to live and hang out.

If you ever end up in Perth, be sure to head down to Beaufort St and see what you think. There is something for everyone. For now though, enjoy the street art.
