Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I trust you are all alive and well and have had a good few weeks with friends or family. Or if you are lucky enough you may be away in some exotic location having experienced a new kind of Christmas and New Year. I have returned home after 8 months on the road and was lucky enough to be home in time for Christmas with friends and family and it has been great catching up with everyone after so long away.
As every other blogger on the net is doing these “New Years” blogs and “what happened in 2013” posts I think I will leave that bit out and just show you a few of my most memorable moments of 2013 and let you know what will be happening this year at ardunward.com.
This year I will be writing my next novel and getting Boon Dockers published as a paperback so more updates on that throughout the year. Travel wise, this year will be one of working hard and getting the bank balance looking healthy again but there are a few small trips on the cards. My wife’s parents are moving to Brisbane so there will be a trip to see them early in the year. While I have been to Brisbane before, I had not really had the opportunity to explore a great deal of the city. Also, a friend of mine has moved to Queenstown,New Zealand so a snowboarding trip in early August is on the cards.
Other than these two trips, Jen and I are planning on heading back to Central America and Colombia at the end of the year. We have unfinished business there with Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and El Salvador to see as well as a few good friends we want to see again in Costa Rica and Colombia.
Hopefully by the time that comes around I will have caught up on my blogs from last year. Luckily for you it means no shortage of travel posts and photos this year!
Happy New Year again and here’s to a prosperous year full of fun, travel and friends. 🙂
