Photo Essay- Great Smoky Mountains N.P.

Hi friends,

I wanted to share with you some of my favourite photos from America’s most visited national park, the Great Smoky Mountains.

One reason this park may be more popular than others in the US may be the fact it is free! The other of course is the fact it is fairly easily accessible from the east coast and the south, oh yeah and thirdly because it is beautiful!

While we were there we discovered many great trails and hikes and stayed in the park campgrounds which were the standard price of $17 US per night for RVs. Cheaper for tents.

The park would be amazing in Autumn as many of the trees lose their leaves and would turn all kinds of reds, yellows and oranges before dropping their leaves. We were not there at that time of year but as the photos will show, the Great Smoky Mountains offer amazing scenes at any time of year I’m sure.

Enjoy the photos and let me know of your favourite hiking trails and national parks.

    • Thanks K,
I do remember how much you like a good waterfall. Make sure you get there someday. Autumn I would suggest!
